Renowned specialists of adventure travels for over 20 years, Karavaniers approached us a few years ago to take in charge the maintenance of their existing website.

In a second phase we’ve been asked to do a complete overhaul of the website, bringing consistency across all pages, showcasing the uniqueness of a trip with Karavaniers. We used this revamp to enhance the narrative on the site and tell the incredible story of the people from Karavaniers and its founder Richard Remy.

At the end of 2015 The Franco-Ontarian Centre for Educational Resources (CFORP) mandated Kaliop for the redesign of its online homework service “SOS Devoirs”. The mandate included the creation of a brand new user experience, the design and the modernization of all the communication tools.

It was an opportunity for the CFORP to offer its users a wider range of contact points: everybody can now opt for its favourite plateform to get in touch and dialogue with SOS Devoirs (chat, email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter for example).

To develop this new website Kaliop relied on the framework Symfony 2 and a variety of bundles from the Sonata Project. We also integrated the Zendesk support tool to easily manage the ticketing and optimize the customer relations.

At Kaliop user-experience is always a priority. The challenge here was to be able to design effective enough interfaces to address both young elementary school children and their elders (aged 15 to 18 years). Mission accomplished with this redesign and a very positive feedback from users!
